Purposes: the carrying out of the tasks applicable to a training centre, the maintenance of the relationship with our providers, compliance with the employment or contractual relationship, selection processes and carrying out direct marketing activities

Recipients: the data will be transferred to companies belonging to the Metrodora Group in order to offer training and service programmes. Likewise, data will be given to third parties in the cases provided for or allowed by law

2. Personal Data Protection. Additional Information.

2.1. Data Processing

The data requested through the Website’s Data collection forms will be processed by U.COLLEGE OF NEW TECHNOLOGIES, S.L. (“ENTI”) in a lawful, loyal and transparent way in relation to the data subject.
The data collected by U.COLLEGE OF NEW TECHNOLOGIES, S.L. (“ENTI”) will be used for the following purposes:

  • To carry out the tasks applicable to a training centre.
    We process your personal data in carrying out the teaching function in the social, academic and advisory fields.
    For the promotion and development of activities organised or promoted directly and indirectly by U.COLLEGE OF NEW TECHNOLOGIES, S.L. (“ENTI”).
  • To maintain a relationship with our providers.
    We process the data from our providers, regardless of whether they are they are individuals or legal entities, for example in the relationship with our supply providers.
  • For the fulfilment of the employment or contractual relationship.
    We process the personal data of our workers and collaborators in order to comply with employment, contractual or pre-contractual relationships maintained with U.COLLEGE OF NEW TECHNOLOGIES, S.L. (“ENTI”).
  • For selection processes.
    We process the personal data of all employment candidates to manage their participation in the personnel selection processes carried out by U.COLLEGE OF NEW TECHNOLOGIES, S.L. (“ENTI”).
  • For conducting marketing and direct marketing activities.
    Personal data will be processed to be able to carry out activities to promote training and complementary services offered by the companies of the Metrodora Group. For these purposes, profiles can be analysed in order to offer the most appropriate services to the professional profile of the data subjects.
    We only process the data that is appropriate, relevant and limited to that necessary in relation to the purposes for which they are processed. The data will be stored only during the time necessary for the purposes of the processing.
 

2.2 Legal Basis.

The legal basis of the processing is based on the execution of a contract for the provision of services or in the fulfilment of a legal obligation, in accordance with Organic Law 2/2006, of 3 May, on Education, Royal Decree 822/2021, of 28 September, in which the organisation of university education and the quality assurance procedure is established, Organic Law 5/2002, of 19 June, qualifications and Professional Training and other applicable regulations. Similarly, in order to carry out marketing and direct marketing activities, personal data will be processed under the legitimate interest of the data controller, in the terms provided for in article 6.1 f) of the GDPR.

2.3. Duration of processing.

The period of the conservation of the students’ data is determined by the duration of the student training programmes at the U.COLLEGE OF NEW TECHNOLOGIES, S.L. (“ENTI”) and the legal obligations arising from these, as well as the validity of the legitimate interest of the data controller, in the terms provided for in article  6.1  f) of the GDPR.
The period of conservation of employees’ data is determined by the duration of the employment relationship, either through the acquisition or loss of the status of partner, or through the termination of the employment contract, and it is not possible to specify it a priori. In the case of applicants’ CVs the period will be 1 year.
The period of conservation of providers’ data is determined by the duration of the business relationship, and it is not possible to specify it a priori.
Regardless of the fact that we process your data for the strictly necessary amount of time in order to comply with the corresponding purpose, we will subsequently keep the data properly stored, protected and blocked during the time in which responsibilities arising from the processing might occur, in compliance with the regulations in force at any given time. Once the possible actions in each case have expired, we proceed to the erase the personal data.

2.4. Sending your curriculum.

The curriculum vitaes and job applications which are received through the forms, e-mail addresses or links on this website will be processed by U.COLLEGE OF NEW TECHNOLOGIES, S.L. (“ENTI”) according to that set forth in the previous section, and they may be used in the personnel selection processes carried out by U.COLLEGE OF NEW TECHNOLOGIES, S.L. (“ENTI”).

2.5. The data subjects’ rights.

The user has the right to obtain confirmation about whether U.COLLEGE OF NEW TECHNOLOGIES, S.L. (“ENTI”) is processing personal data concerning them, or not.

The User has the right to access their personal data, as well as request the rectification of any inaccurate data or, where applicable, request its erasure when, among other reasons, the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.

In certain circumstances, users may request the restriction of the processing of their data, in which case we will only keep it for the exercising or defending of complaints.
In certain circumstances and for reasons related to their particular situation, the data subject can object to the processing of their data. In this case, U.COLLEGE OF NEW TECHNOLOGIES, S.L. To exercise your rights, the data subject must send an e-mail to the address: dpd@metrodoraeducation.com, specifying your request that must contain the following data: user name and surnames, registered address for notification purposes, copy of the National Identity Document or passport, and the request in which the requirement is specified. In the case of representation, it is necessary to prove this by means of a reliable document.

If a user considers that there is a problem with the way U.COLLEGE OF NEW TECHNOLOGIES, S.L. (“ENTI”) is handling your data, you can direct your complaint to the Data Protection Officer or the corresponding Data Protection Authority, being the Spanish Data Protection Agency indicated in the case of Spain.

2.6. Adoption of security measures.

The data processing guarantees the adequate security of the said data, including protection against unauthorised or unlawful processing and against its loss, destruction or accidental damage, by means of the application of appropriate technical or organisational measures, taking into account the state of the technology, the nature of the stored data and the risks it is exposed to.

U .COLLEGE OF NEW TECHNOLOGIES, S.L. (“ENTI”) considers that children deserve specific protection of their personal data, as they may be less aware of the risks, consequences, guarantees, and rights concerning the processing of their personal data. This specific protection must be applied, in particular, to the use of personal data of children for the purposes of marketing or elaboration of personality or user profiles, and the obtaining of personal data related to children when using services offered directly to a child.
